The 2026 edition of Sitges’s Festival Terramar Caixabank will kick off its series of concerts on 31 July with a performance by Catalan singer-songwriter Sílvia Pérez Cruz, an especially symbolic event coinciding with the 30th anniversary of her career, as well as the presentation of her new album with previously unreleased songs. Terra Music & Events, which organises the festival, has announced the first confirmed names in the lineup for its ninth edition, which will run until 12 August in the Jardins de Terramar gardens.

One of the biggest names in contemporary music, Sergio Dalma, is slotted in for 1 August, when he’ll be presenting his “Ritorno a Via Dalma” album live as part of a tour of major venues revisiting his Italian hits. On 2 August, it’ll be time for the live premiere of Joan Dausà’s fifth album, Immortals (to be released this coming 10 April), in a tour with just ten appearances. And on 5 August, Earth, Wind & Fire Experience by Al McKay will be performing their only concert in Catalonia this summer. The experience was created by the band’s legendary guitarist and “groove director”, co-author of classic such as “September” and producer of “Boogie Wonderland”.

The music will continue on 8 August in a double bill reaffirming the festival’s commitment to Catalan talent. The featured guests will be Els Amics de les Arts, are celebrating their 20th anniversary with a greatest hits tour, and Ginestà, the brother/sister duo made up of Júlia and Pau Serrasolsas, who broke onto the Catalan-language music scene in 2024 and are releasing a new album this spring. On 9 August, it’ll be time for “This Is Michael”, an international tribute show looking back at the King of Pop’s greatest hits and iconic stage performances in an especially symbolic year for Michael Jackson’s legacy due to the upcoming world premiere of the biopic Michael.

Another memorable night in this year’s edition of Terramar CaixaBank will come on 11 August with Sopa de Cabra, one of the most groundbreaking and influential Catalan rock bands, who will be celebrating their 40th anniversary with a repertoire that’s become part of our collective memory. The festival will come to a close on 12 August with God Save The Queen, in an event celebrating another 40th anniversary: the anniversary of Queen’s concert at Knebworth Park in London, which was the legendary Freddy Mercury’s last performance.
