One of the best things about travelling is being able to accurately remember your journeys. Within those memories, the cuisine usually occupies an important part. In the case of Sitges, your palate will be able to enjoy exceptional wines and dishes, originating from the town itself, with a flavour which lingers both in your mouth and in your memory.

Tapa a Tapa tapas route. Over the course of 11 days, dozens of establishments offer the chance to try the local cuisine in tapas form. Those who attend can enjoy a creative tapas dish and a ‘canya’ (under a half pint) or ‘quinto’ (small bottle) of beer for €3. +INFO

 

Taste Sitges. The town’s main restaurants offer half a portion of haute cuisine dishes for €9, paired with a glass of wine or cava.
 

Wine fair. The Sitges Wine Fair is held on the first weekend of October, aimed at creating a space that allows you to discover wines from the different wineries in the region. Products with a Penedès Denomination of Origin and those made in El Garraf take centre stage.

 

National Tapas Competition. Sitges is the setting where the best tapas dish in Catalonia is decided. During the days on which the competition takes place, in establishments in Sitges you can try award-winning tapas dishes from the different competitions that are held in Catalonia and which are in the running for the best tapa of the year in Catalonia.

 

The xató salad menu. From November to April. Several establishments in Sitges feature xató salad in their set menus, which also include a dish that is characteristically unique to each establishment, finished with a caramelised orange dessert, house sweets and a glass of Malvasia. Prices vary between 19 and 30 euros, depending on the choices at each restaurant.

 

Cheese Fest. Cheese exhibition which gathers the best products for sharing, tasting and getting to know the cheese culture, over a whole weekend.
