A wine that is only produced in Sitges
We have our own wine. Like no other in the world. Its name comes from the variety of grape with which it is made: Malvasia.
Its particular taste is not only determined by the variety of grape, but also by the late grape harvest, the high standard, the acidity and obviously, its proximity to the sea.
The result is a golden wine, dominated by fresh fruit (peach, apricot, pear and melon), with floral hints and a touch of Mediterranean herbs.
The Llivi ancestors built the winery in 1776. With the passing of time and different generations, the business has continued to develop and adapt to wine-growing’s new needs. Its production philosophy is reflected in its facilities, which allow it to benefit from the latest technology without giving up on the small-scale artisan production of its cavas, sweet wines, mistela and brandy. Production approved by Penedès, Cava and Catalonia Denominations of Origin. Recently, the winery has entered into the world of winemaking and micro-winemaking of so-called sulphur free wines.
