Sitges' markets

Your market

Local and high-quality products spread across 25 stalls, 10 stores in an arcade, a supermarket and an informative “culinary class”.  Without doubt a good way to understand the town’s rhythm and liveliness. Go for a wander, ask around, try and buy. Slow food made in Sitges.

Street market
(Very) local produce market.

In Sitges, markets are held on Thursday and Saturday mornings. If you happen to be in the city on one of these days, we recommend that you visit these roaming markets. In the case of the Thursday market, which is held on the Passeig de Vilafranca, clothing and home accessories dominate the selection of goods on offer, but there is also room for food products. At the Saturday market, fruits and vegetables take centre stage on stands in Plaça de Catalunya. These markets are a good way to start the weekend, as well as to discover that slow food is a deep-rooted concept in Sitges.
