Architecture Festival Open House 48h
Open House 48h, the most important architecture festival in the metropolitan area of Barcelona, lands on the weekend of 21 and 22 October in Sitges. In its 14th edition, it aims to excavate micro-narratives that we can extract from the details we find in buildings.
The festival has 7 cities in which to visit, free of charge and without prior reservation, public buildings and also private homes, which open their doors to promote architecture and help to understand it as an essential component of culture.
Sitges has been taking part in the festival since 2021 and this year offers 11 visits to emblematic buildings in the town, such as the Casino Prado Suburense, Casa Vilella (now a hotel), the Mercat Vell and the Santiago Rusiñol Library.
