Accompanied by the organization Plastic Oceans, we will watch the documentary Out of Plastic made on the island of Mallorca and begin a debate on the problem of plastic waste in the seas and oceans.

Afterwards we will go to collect waste on the beaches of La Barra and Terramar.

Suitable for all audiences and ages.

Schedule and course of the activity:

• 10:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.: Viewing of the documentary and debate.
• 11:15 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.: Brief rest and organization of groups to collect waste on beaches and coves.
• 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.: Cleaning of the beaches of La Barra and Terramar and the coves of Sitges (special attention to microplastics).

All data collected will be analyzed and entered into the Ocean Observers citizen science program Microplastic Watchers.
