With this bicycle itinerary we will discover the environmental wealth, often unknown, of the natural spaces of the Garraf coasts, the Ribes creek and the Cols i Miralpeix, as well as their impacts and threats present.

Activity description

The meeting point will be at 10 am at the CEM (Passeig Marítim, 72 of Sitges).

• 10 h: Welcome, presentation of the activity and start of the route by bicycle.
• 12.30 pm: Return to CEM and end of the route.
• 12.30 - 1.30 p.m. Anyone who wishes can enter the facility and visit the exhibition on the Coasts of Garraf Marine Space and view the audiovisual Posidonia Experience.
  
  
  The bike route will begin at the CEM towards the monument of Dr. Benaprés where we will observe the distribution of the beaches of Sitges and capture the dynamics of the coast. The route will continue in the direction of the disembodiment of the Ribes stream, the Terramar Gardens, the Grills beach, the old Atlantida nightclub and the treatment plant. Finally we will reach the foot of the Colls and Miralpeix. Whoever wants can leave the bicycle and accompanied by one of the educators go up to the viewpoint of the Cave of the Giant to observe the configuration of a large part of the Garraf coast.
  
  This activity is organized with the collaboration of the Edulis Association that was born with the aim of promoting knowledge of the environment and nature.
  
  
  Free activity with prior registration.
  It is an outdoor activity, remember to wear a cap, sunglasses, water and sun cream. Everyone has to come on their bike.
