Activity organised as part of the Let's Clean up Europe European meeting on cleaning up natural spaces with the collaboration of Sitges Town Council, the Jardins de Terramar Festival and Nootka Kayak & Sup.

The environmental educators of the Edulis Association will take part in the activity.

Let's Clean Europe
This is a Europe-wide campaign to raise awareness of the amount of waste we throw uncontrollably into nature and to promote awareness-raising actions through the collection of illegally dumped waste in forests, on beaches, riverbanks, etc.

Programme

10:00h: Welcome and presentation of the activity: at the CEM information point you will be assigned your waste collection area and provided with all the necessary material.

10:30h - 12:30h: Waste collection on the beaches of La Barra, Terramar, Les Anquines, El Cellerot and Els Grills de Sitges.

12:30- 13:00h: Weighing of all waste collected and closing of the day.

The meeting point will be at 10 a.m. at the CEM (Passeig Marítim, 72, Sitges).
