This route is not frequented as much as some of the park’s other walks. The route, which goes to the ancient Olivella castle from the town with the same name, is a real find for lovers of mountains and photography. The route starts in Olivella’s picturesque old town, and runs deep into the mountains on this side of the Garraf mountain range through paths lined with pines and fan palms.
This route, which offers great views of Olivella and its surroundings, is best-walked in spring due to the flowers on offer, such as those on vines and on the fruit of arbutus trees. The water hole, the castle ruins and the Muntaner cave are some of the journey’s photographic points of interest.
