The 2021 Sitges Carnival cancels its mass events and proposes an alternative, creative celebration

Both the Town Council and the Carnival Commission agree that Sitges should celebrate Carnival, but adapting it to the current health requirements, with the cancellation of the Disbauxa and Extermini parades, the children's parades and the Bed Race.

The Sitges Town Hall and the Carnival Commission have agreed that Sitges will have its Carnival in 2021, from the 11th to the 17th of February, in a different, adapted format. The intention is to hold a reinvented Carnival that will allow the essence of this celebration to be maintained and at the same time, comply with all health measures derived from the outbreak of Covid-19.

They are currently working on an alternative program, basically online, based above all on creativity and ingenuity, to structure a new Carnival concept.

The latest developments on the upcoming Carnival can be followed through the official social networks (Facebook: @Sitgescarvaloficial / Twitter: @sitgesO / Instagram: @sitges_carnaval).
