The DO Penedès Gastronomic Route returns this November with paired menus

From November 2 to 24 we can find different tasting menus from 8 restaurants in Sitges, which have had the collaboration of 25 DO Penedès wineries, who have been in charge of the pairing.

The route will begin on November 2 at the Gutiziak Restaurant, a proposal that unites the influences of Nikkei (Japan-Peruvian) cuisine with a Basque touch. It will be followed on November 3 by Eurostars Sitges, which will offer its gastronomy based on the Mediterranean essence and innovation, with international influence. On November 10 it will be the turn of Sofia Restaurant, the new gastronomic establishment of the Matas Arnalot Group, based on the Mediterranean diet, seasonal products and kilometer 0. On November 11, the MIM Sitges Hotel will offer a very diverse, surprising menu and balanced. The Costa Dorada Restaurant will offer its tasting menu on November 17, a benchmark of Sitges cuisine headed by chef Joan Vidal. On November 18, the route will stop at the Hotel Casa Vilella, which combines tradition and creativity in each of its dishes. The last two dinners will be held on November 23 at the Sitges Bon Estar Restaurant, with an innovative proposal of traditional Mediterranean cuisine dishes, and on November 24 at the El Castell Restaurant, which works following the values ​​of proximity and quality. .Menus paired in a very special way
One of the unique features of the DO Penedès Gastronomic Route in Sitges is the participation of the producers themselves in the wine tastings. During each dinner, each wine is presented by its producers to make attendees aware of the uniqueness and characteristics of each one. In turn, they direct the tasting to savor each wine to the fullest.

In this third edition, 25 wineries participate with a selection of Penedès wines specially chosen to pair with each of the dishes on the tasting menus: Albet y Noya, Alsina & Sardà, Seta, Can Feixes, Can León, Can Ràfols dels Caus, Capità Vidal, Bodega Hospital de Sitges, Estrella de Plata, Eudald Massana, Familia Torres, Finca Ca N'Estella, Gramona, Jané Ventura, Jean Leon, Juan Segura Pujadas, Loxarel, Mas Rodó, Mastinell, Parés Baltà, Pinord, Puig-Batet , Ramon Canals, El Cep Wines and Property of Espillos de Juvé & Camps.
