Held in celebration of the town’s patron saint, Sant Bartomeu (Saint Bartholomew), on the 24 August, with giants, demons and folk dances on display on the 23rd and 24th. The festival lasts 36 intense hours which start with the arrival of the grallero flute players at midday on the 23rd. At eleven o’clock in the evening the breathtaking traditional fireworks are launched from La Fragata beach.
