Yes, without a doubt: Sitges also gets along well with Christmas. But of course, what are we going to say, right? But it's true: Sitges is a great place any season of the year. Sitges anytime ;)
We know that there are restrictions and that they must be followed, by all means. We won't be able to share it with you as we would have liked? Well that's true. But it won't be because of a lack of attitude: restaurants, stores, bars, hotels, museums and neighbors are all going to celebrate this holiday season.
This celebration has been embodied in an activity calendar for Christmas that, despite being adapted to the long-reaching shadow of Covid-19, has a substantial Christmas variety of activities: a musical parade (including Santa Claus), Nativity scene dioramas (careful, we've already celebrated 31 editions, there's got a reason for that), Sardana dancing at the Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla parish church, clowns and puppets at the Prado Theater, a Christmas concert with the Orquesta Maravella (also at the Prado Theater), a video game tournament, live magic and... yes, the presence of Their Majesties the Three Kings of Orient, who, with prior registration, can be visited to give them the corresponding letters on January 5th at different points around Sitges. You can find all the details (days, times and places) of this complete Christmas calendar on our website.
In addition to this events calendar, Sitges offers a permanent range of activities: enjoy the views from a terrace, a walk along the beach under the winter sun, have a Sitges-style rice dish for lunch or dinner, a Malvasia wine tasting or go shopping for unique and different gifts in our stores. Christmas is also a good time to discover the gems of Modernisme at our museums, to stroll along the beach in winter or to go hiking in that natural wonder that is the Garraf Park.
As we were saying: these holidays, attitude, sun, colors, sea and mountains, smiles and hopes that we will be able to share them together next year. Ho, ho, ho ;)
