For this route we set off from Sota –Ribes, which you can reach with the Bus Garraf 72 from Sitges. After getting off at the stop in Plaça Catalunya, walk for around 900 metres in the direction of the Castell de Ribes.

From there you can take two routes that cross the wine-growing landscape of the Massís del Garraf. If wine tourism is your thing, on this route you’ll find some local wineries, family-run and organic producers, which you can visit if you book in advance.

Option 1: Sota- Ribes – Ermita de Sant Pau

Behind the church, we take the Camí de Can Zidro path and head in the direction of the Ermita de Sant Pau. On this route we’ll go through vineyards and enjoy the typical landscape of the Garraf area, with vines, carob trees and Mediterranean dwarf palms. From there we go back down to Plaça Catalunya to get the return bus.

Option 2: Sota- Ribes – La Torre del Veguer 

Once we go past the tower of the former castle, we head to the back of the church and take a path that is part of the network of county walking trails, going through vineyards and past some country houses and wineries. The Celler Vega de Ribes, specialising in our variety of Malvasia de Sitges and the Torre del Veguer.

Empfehlungen:

• Comfortable footwear, suitable for walking, preferably boots or light shoes with good grip.

• Bring water and sunscreen with you, particularly in the summer, as there is not much shade.

• Respect the natural environment, do not leave any litter and avoid lighting fires.
