Learn to observe the sky
Saturn will be visible throughout the night. This year, its rings are opening up again, allowing us to admire their beauty. With the Moon absent, we will be able to observe faint and distant objects known as deep-sky objects.
This is the perfect opportunity to discover the night sky and the celestial bodies you can observe tonight and in the nights to come, while learning how to explore the sky on your own. Find out how to navigate the night sky, identify the main stars and constellations, discover the celestial highlights of the current season, and understand how the sky moves.
The activity, which lasts almost two hours, is divided into three parts:
1- Planetarium Session: Inside the Planetarium it gets dark, we notice the apparent movement of the sky which helps us to orientate ourselves, we identify bright stars, we get to know constellations, we recognise planets…. Without realising it, a whole night will pass.
2- Observation of the sky with the naked eye: We will learn to orientate ourselves by using a celestial chart. And with the help of a tellurium and a laser pointer we will learn to locate the stars and constellations currently visible.
3- Observation with a telescope: The Moon and Saturn
Adult price: 22 €
