La Capella de les Arts of the Fundació Ave Maria hosts two series that engage in dialogue with each other: “Labores son amores” and “Lo que las manos dictan.” Both proposals explore patience as an act of resistance against contemporary speed and reclaim the beauty of art made with hands and heart.

In “Labores son amores,” photographs of nature printed on tablecloths and towels embroidered with gold thread illuminate the everyday and revalue manual work. The series “Lo que las manos dictan” features ceramic sculptures in an “old gold” tone, where the hands guide the creative process in an intuitive dialogue with the material.

Thus, "Amor, paciente labor" is an invitation to pause, contemplate, and recover the human dimension of work and creation, celebrating slow time, passion, and patience in the face of the accelerated pace of our era.
