Exhibition: “Dolls from the Lola Anglada Collection”

From October 8th to December 31st

The Espai Rocamora of the Museu de Maricel presents a small rotating selection of restored dolls from the Lola Anglada Doll Collection, assembled by Lola Anglada, a prominent Catalan draughtswoman, illustrator, writer and collector.

The exhibition highlights the historical and artistic significance of this remarkable collection, comprising more than 550 antique dolls dating from the 18th to the 20th centuries. Made from materials such as wood, composition and porcelain, some feature movement or musical mechanisms. These pieces provide a valuable insight into the clothing, fashion and everyday life of bygone eras.
