Guided Visit to the Palau de Maricel
Between the blue of the sea and the light of the sky, the Palau de Maricel reveals all its splendour. This guided tour offers the opportunity to discover one of the most emblematic buildings of Sitges’ heritage, born from the shared vision of American collector Charles Deering and artist and engineer Miquel Utrillo.
Built at the beginning of the 20th century on the site of the former Sant Joan Hospital, the Palau de Maricel is one of the Mediterranean’s most unique architectural ensembles. Its rooms, terraces and viewpoints offer a unique experience, where art, architecture and landscape constantly engage in dialogue with the light and the sea.
During the tour, participants will discover the history of the building, the richness of its spaces and the artistic details that make it one of Sitges’ great cultural treasures.
