"Illi et nos" means "them and us". Under this title, Roger Sanguino has created a selection of portraits based on the observations and sketches he has made of the urban space he passes through every day. From this urban space, the artist explains, he takes into account the people he meets, as well as the geometry that surrounds us, existing both in open and closed spaces. In "Illi et nos" we can all be "them" and these "them" can be us, because we are all part of this urban environment, where we observe others and where we are observed.
