Saint John in Poble Sec
The night of June 23rd, the festival of Saint John, is a magical night celebrating the summer solstice, two days late. It's a celebration that the Catholic Church commemorates with the birth of Saint John the Baptist, and it has become a festival with very strong and symbolic elements and customs.
SATURDAY 14 OF JUNE
6:30 pm | ‘Corre i no et quedis sec’
Music parade around the neighbourhood establishments
Route around the neighbourhood establishments enlivened with live music by Atiliks. Don’t miss this evening filled with festivities, music and great vibes!

9 pm | Community dinner with "pa amb tomàquet"
Plaça de Catalunya
Community dinner with pa amb tomàquet (bread with tomato) and the presentation of the 2025 Poble Sec heiress and heir.
12 midnight | Festival night with DJ Seventeen
Plaça de Catalunya
Starting at midnight, DJ Seventeen will heat up the night in Plaça de Catalunya.
MONDAY 23 OF JUNE
2 pm | Explosion of the 12 morterets
Plaça de Catalunya Event with fireworks
Lighting the 12 fireworks by the Sitges Town Hall.
7 pm | Arrival of the "Flama del Canigó"
Plaça de Catalunya
Arrival of the Flame of El Canigó to Sitges, in conjunction with the Jove de Castells de Sitges and Òmnium Garraf.
11 pm | Start of the revelry
Plaça de Catalunya Event with fireworks
We’ll kick of the Sant Joan revelry with an activity filled with light, colour and energy to light up the night.
11:30 pm | Apotheosic Sant Joan revelry
Plaça de Catalunya
Apotheosic Sant Joan revelry with DJ Miku, Vizuri and David Flame.
David Flame will kick off the festivities to warm things up. Then Vizuri, a cover band, will start performing at 12:30 am with a session brimming with energy.
To top off the evening, at 2:30 am DJ Miku will take over and make us dance non-stop until dawn.. Event with fireworks

Celebration of the Eucharist in honour of the patron Saint John the Baptist, with the attendance of the committee, authorities, the heiresses and heirs.
11:30 am | Departure of the procession
Sant Joan church
Departure from Sant Joan church then going along Camí de la Fita, Carrer Floreal, Carrer Cardenal Vidal i Barraquer and ending at Hospital Sant Joan Baptista. In conjunction with Colla Vella de Bastons and the La Sitja grallers [chirimia players].
12 noon | Sardana recital

5 pm | Celebration of the Eucharist
