The summer sky with the Moon and Venus
An ideal activity to discover the night sky and learn how to identify constellations, stars, and planets visible during the current season. It lasts two hours and is divided into three parts:
- Planetarium Session: Inside the Planetarium, night falls and we observe the apparent movement of the sky that helps us orient ourselves, identify bright stars, discover constellations, and recognize planets… Before we realize it, an entire night will have passed. We will finish with a simulation of the upcoming solar eclipse on August 12.
- Naked-eye sky stargazing: We will learn how to find our way around and how to use a star chart. With the help of a laser pointer, we will learn to locate the stars and constellations currently visible in the sky.
- Telescope Observation: The planet Venus and a deep-sky object.
