Theatre: "Cyrano de Bergerac"
12, 13, 14 and 15 of May
Performed in English
This nineteenth-century French classic is about Cyrano de Bergerac, a brilliant soldier and poet known as much for his sharp wit as for his famously large nose. Convinced that his appearance makes him unworthy of love, he hides his feelings for his cousin Roxane. When she falls for the handsome but inarticulate Christian, Cyrano secretly helps him, speaking and writing in his place. As the truth remains hidden, the story unfolds into a moving exploration of love, honesty, and self-worth.
