Organised by Foment de Sitges with the support of the Sitges Town Council’s Tourism Department and sponsored by Familia Torres, the festival aims to promote wine culture and local gastronomy through a range of activities, most of which will take place in Plaça de la Fragata.

Sitges-born actress Anna Barrachina will officially kick off the festival with the Grape Harvest Festival opening speech, held at Racó de la Calma at 7.30 pm. Once again, one of the highlights of the celebrations will be the 47th Grape Stomping Competition, together with the Wine Fair, which is celebrating its 19th edition this year. Three packed days to enjoy wine culture, discover local winemaking traditions and take an active part in the town’s festive and cultural life.

The festival has been held continuously since 1961, when the first grape harvests took place in the vineyards.

19th Wine Fair

The 19th Wine Fair is part of the Grape Harvest Festival and will be held from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening in Plaça de la Fragata.

This year’s edition will feature a selection of wines and cavas from various wineries. Among the exhibitors at the fair will be Familia Torres, alongside a diverse selection of wineries, including Jean Leon, Alicia i Josep Viticultors, Vermouth Padró and Formatgeria de Sitges.
