Sitges celebrates dance from April 25 to 29 with a broad program of activities
Sitges launches a new edition of Dansa Sitges 2026 on the occasion of International Dance Day, consolidating this project as a stable proposal within the municipality’s cultural agenda. From April 25 to 29, the town will host various activities that highlight dance as an artistic expression and strengthen collaboration with the local cultural fabric.
The festival brings together proposals in different spaces across the town, turning them into open stages for the public and encouraging the participation of training centers, dance schools, and local artistic groups. The activities combine performance, training, and dissemination of different styles, from classical dance to contemporary and urban proposals.
Within this framework, the “Dance among Books” cycle is consolidated, proposing a dialogue between dance and other cultural disciplines in spaces such as the Santiago Rusiñol Library. The program also includes open showcases in emblematic venues of the town, such as Barra Oberta, bringing dance closer to citizens and reinforcing its community dimension.
Dansa Sitges 2026 will conclude on April 29, coinciding with International Dance Day, with a day that highlights local creation and the continuity of this cultural project in the town.
