The event, traditionally part of the Festa de la Verema (Grape Harvest Festival), will be held independently this year after weather conditions forced its cancellation in early October
The 19th Sitges Wine Fair will finally take place from 23 to 25 October at Plaça de la Fragata. Heavy rainfall during the first weekend of October made it impossible to hold the event on its originally scheduled dates. The fair will therefore remain on the calendar with its own dedicated edition, separate from the Festa de la Verema, of which it has traditionally been a part.
The fair will bring together a selection of wines and cavas from various wineries and producers, including Família Torres, Jean Leon, Vermouth Padró and Formatgeria de Sitges, among other exhibitors. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover and sample a variety of products related to winemaking and gastronomy.
One of the highlights of the programme will be the presentation of the Torres&Earth space, an educational initiative by Família Torres aimed at raising awareness of the effects of climate change on viticulture and the measures being implemented by the sector to reduce its environmental impact. The space will also focus on sustainability initiatives and adaptation strategies in response to climate challenges.
Meanwhile, the Sitges Malvasia Interpretation Centre (CIM) will hold open days throughout the weekend to introduce residents, visitors and tourists to the local wine culture.

· Saturday, 24 October: 12 pm to 3.30 pm and 5 pm to 11 pm.
· Sunday, 25 October: 12 pm to 3.30 pm and 5 pm to 9 pm.
