This route starts in the centre of Sitges, one of the most iconic towns on the Catalan coast. After following the Passeig Marítim for around 3 km —or taking the urban L2 line (Can Pei - Terramar)—, we get to the Jardins de Terramar and the golf course. From there the GR footpath starts, heading south in the direction of the Massís del Garraf.

Along the path we find various points of interest, such as what’s left of the Club Atlàntida, an old leisure complex now in ruins and evoking the nightlife of bygone decades.

The outing offers a chance to explore prehistoric caves too, an account of this area’s remotest past, as well as some of the most unique beaches on the Catalan coast: the Platja de l’Home Mort  and the Platja Desenrocada. Both are natural beaches, surrounded by cliffs and only accessible on foot. The Platja de l’Home Mort is known as it was the first official nudist beach in Spain and has a long tradition as a welcoming place for the LGTBIQ+ community. The adjacent Platja Desenrocada shares the same unspoilt and peaceful environment. Bathing costumes are optional on both beaches.

An easy to moderately difficult walk, this route is ideal for walkers looking for a combination of nature, culture and sea. The path is well signposted with GR markings (red and white lines), making it easy for users to get their bearings and follow. The contrast between the Mediterranean vegetation, the intense blue of the sea and the peace of the hidden corners here make this an unforgettable experience.

• Comfortable footwear, suitable for walking, preferably boots or light shoes with good grip.
• Bring water and sunscreen, particularly in the summer, as there is not much shade.
• Respect the natural environment, do not leave any litter and avoid starting fires
