August 5th is the Day of Our Lady of Vinyet, whose sanctuary, declared Architectural Heritage, becomes a meeting point to worship Sitges' most beloved virgin. Holy Masses in her honor, a small market and fireworks are all part of the agenda for this special day. You really shouldn't miss it if you're in Sitges because it's about emotional heritage shared by all the locals.

Virgin of Vinyet Festival

MORNING MASS · 8 am

Followed by veneration of the Holy Image and the singing of the Cant dels Goigs.

CONCELEBRATED SOLEMN MASS · 11 am

Offering by representatives from the initiative ‘My name is Vinyet, a Sitges name’. Followed by veneration of the Holy Image and the singing of the Cant dels Goigs.

ROSARY PRAYERS and the Cant dels Goigs · 6 pm

TRADITIONAL FIREWORKS DISPLAY · 10 pm 

At the beach with the Benaprés statue. Event with fireworks.
