A person gets up early in the morning, in his trances, consults books and we don't quite know what's happening to him until he receives a phone call and we learn that he has to make a speech, that he is the king and that like every year, the on his birthday, he dedicates a few words to the population. 'The abdication' is a monologue by Albert de la Torre about the end of the social paradigm of coexistence on which European politics and peace have been based since the end of World War II.
