Although its name evokes the coastline of Sitges, today’s winemaking reality is clear: the vast majority of single-varietal Malvasia de Sitges wines currently available on the market have a strong Penedès identity and fall under the DO Penedès designation of origin.

Guided by sommelier Xavier Barba, we will discover how this region has played a key role in the expansion of the variety, embracing young wines, skin-contact wines, sparkling wines and wines aged for long periods.
A tasting to explore the close connection between Malvasia and the Penedès region, where tradition and varietal character feel right at home.
