International day against homophobia biphobia and transphobia
Activities for IDAHOBIT (17 May)
17 MAY
- Walk for LGBTIQ+ visibility
When: 10 a.m.
Where: from Colors Sitges Link at Carrer Joan Tarrida 1 to Camí de Ronda Sitges-Vilanova.
Recreational advocacy walk with flags and chants to Camí de Ronda Sitges-Vilanova, ending up at Cala de l’Home Mort.
Important: wear trainers and comfortable sportswear. If you have the CSL’s fuchsia T-shirt, bring it! Participants will take a swim at Cala de l’Home Mort and then head back.
The walk will conclude at a venue to be confirmed. Follow our social media pages and website for more information.
Route: Approx. 6 km.
All are welcome (children, young people, adults...)

- Sexual Self-Esteem for Everyone workshop
When: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Where: Casal de la Gent Gran Joan Maragall
Experiential sexploration workshop on desire and care among dissident bodies
Who: members of the LGBTIQ+ community of all ages (children, young people,
adults…)

- Peaceful protest march
When: 6 p.m.
Where: the march will start at Plaça de l’Ajuntament and wind through
Carrer Major, Carrer Parellades, Carrer Primer de Maig and Passeig de la Ribera before ending up by the Monument Against Homophobia (known as the Pink Triangle) at Passeig Marítim 10.

- City Council ceremony
When: 6:30 p.m.
Where: Passeig Marítim 10
Reading of the Government of Catalonia’s official manifesto and laying of flowers by City Council representatives.
- Open mic
When: Following the ceremony
Open mic session where members of the public can read poems, sing or express themselves in other ways. There will also be a memorial space for victims of LGBTIQ-phobia, where people can leave candles and flowers.

- Eurovision party against LGBTIQ-phobia
When: 8 p.m. to midnight
Where: Moulin Rosé (Carrer Bonaire 13)
To close out the day, come watch the Eurovision Song Contest final in good
company, with a festive atmosphere, large screens and a drag queen
as host.
