The Sitges Tapa a Tapa gastronomy initiative is back this autumn to delight locals and visitors alike with succulent and creative tapas from 28 establishments in the town. The ten-day event, from 20 to 30 November, sees local restaurants offering their culinary creations in the form of a tapa, paired with  wine or beer.

The event reaffirms Sitges’ position as a food and wine destination, with tapas that combine innovation, quality produce and a homage to traditional Catalan cuisine reinterpreted from a contemporary perspective. International fusion is also on the menu as it has become one of the characteristic traits of the project. More establishments are taking part in this edition, with options that include a false duck cannellone, autumn puff pastry, a crunchy pouch with brie and suckling pork and a large croquette stuffed with oxtail.

The price of each tapa and its drink is 4 euros, maintaining the accessible and appealing format that has consolidated Tapa a Tapa as one of the most eagerly awaited food routes of the year. As ever, people taking part can vote for their favourite tapas and have a chance of winning an evening meal in a Sitges restaurant or free vouchers for the spring edition of Tapa a Tapa.

Sitges Tapa a Tapa is organised by the Gremi d'Hostaleria de Sitges with the support of the Councillor’s Office for Tourism at Sitges Town Council. The goal is for the event to have a notable impact for local restaurants, strengthening deseasonalisation and the municipality’s gastronomic dynamism.
