Ludovico Einaudi and De Hauser present their only concerts in Catalonia at the Festival Terramar Caixabank in Sitges

The first confirmations for the seventh edition of the Festival include Ana Mena, the presentation of Sopa de Cabra's new tour, and concerts by Antònia Font, Camela and God Save The Queen.
The Festival will be putting tickets on sale from Friday 9 February at 10am.

The Catalan promoter Terra Music & Events SL, organiser of the Terramar Caixabank Festival in Sitges, announces the first names on the line-up for its seventh edition, which will take place from 24th July to 9th August. The opening concert will be given by the prestigious Italian pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi, in his only performance this summer in Catalonia. Einaudi is the classical music artist with the most streams in history, creator of soundtracks for films, television programmes, advertisements and piano compositions, contributing to compositions for piano, contributing to his international recognition with songs as viral as his "Experience". Sopa de Cabra, the Catalan band, will perform on 27 July with their greatest hits and new songs from their their great achievements and new songs from their forthcoming album "Alma". Another of the highlights of this year's edition will be on 1 August with a performance by the international virtuoso cellist Hauser, co-founder of 2Cellos, in the only recital on Catalan stages this summer with his first solo world tour "Rebel with a Cello".

In addition to Ludovico Einaudi, Sopa de Cabra and Hauser, the organisers of Terramar Caixabank have also unveiled Ana Mena, one of the pop voices of the moment, who will perform on 6 August with her "Bellodrama Tour", among the first artists of the seventh edition; The group Camela, the greatest exponents of techno-rumba, will also be at the festival on 7th August with their "30 years of hits" tour; and God Save The Queen, considered the best tribute band in the world, will revive their particular romance with the festival audience on 8th August. Antònia Font, confirmed a few weeks ago, will close this new edition of the festival on 9th August, bringing one of the exclusive dates of their return to the stage to Sitges. In the coming weeks, the new concert additions that will complete the final line-up will be announced.

 

CAIXABANK STRENGTHENS ITS TIES WITH THE TERRAMAR FESTIVAL
The seventh edition of the Sitges Terramar Gardens Festival has the main support of CaixaBank as a strategic partner, which this year is also strengthening its ties with the Festival. Through 'MusicXperience', the bank reaffirms its support for music and its commitment as an institution to the areas where it is present to promote cultural activity, boost the economy and generate a positive impact. Under this umbrella, a wide range of musical initiatives are promoted as part of the Xperience CaixaBank programme, which offers memorable content and experiences in the fields of culture, sport, gastronomy and music.

 

THE 2023 EDITION OF THE FESTIVAL ORGANISED BY THE CATALAN PROMOTER TIERRA MUSIC & EVENTS HAD AN ECONOMIC IMPACT OF MORE THAN 8 MILLION EUROS (€8,143,043).
Last year's edition of the event had an economic impact of €8,143,403, generated by the event itself in terms of its overall economic activity. Of this figure, 37% of the total, €3,010,697, had an impact on the local and regional economy. The musical event obtains a return of €5.1 per euro invested and generates 86.4 full-time equivalent jobs, more than half of which are local. The average expenditure made in Sitges by the 24,420 spectators who attended as audience was €87.3 without taking into account the cost of the ticket. The repercussion is especially in catering, although other economic sectors benefit, such as hotels, local commerce, leisure and transport.
In terms of socio-demographic data, the report carried out by the public opinion consultancy The Watsons, states that the festival was visited by audiences coming from 230 towns in Catalonia, 21 provinces in the rest of Spain and from 16 different countries.

 

The highest expenditure was made by people from other countries (€499) and from the rest of Spain (€300). Newcomers, those who are discovering the event for the first time, represent 65% of the total, confirming that there is a loyal audience of 35%, who have already attended previous editions.
