Two new charging points for electric vehicles start working in Sitges
This Friday the two new charging points for electric vehicles in Sitges came into operation. They are located on Samuel Barrachina street and on the Paseo Marítimo.
These two new locations are added to the five already offered by the municipality: three in the Can Robert car park, one on the Paseo Marítimo and a third on Samuel Barrachina street. These are semi-fast chargers, with a power of 22kW, which allow charging a single vehicle at that power or connecting two electric vehicles simultaneously at 11+11 kW.
The installation complies with the ITC-BT-52 Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulation.
It is planned to gradually install new charging points in different neighborhoods, tourist or industrial areas.
The specific Local Resilience 2.0 Program, available to the City Council, is endowed with €105,555, to improve the electricity recharging infrastructure of the municipality
