For years, town criers have been in charge of communicating the most important news of a town to its neighbours. This is the spirit behind La Pregonera, the professional cultural programme linked to the performing and musical arts, as well as the artistic and informative exhibitions organised each year by the Sitges Town Council's Department of Culture in collaboration with organisations and groups.
